Frequently Asked Questions

Is there anything we need to know about Polish weddings?

Expect lots of Polish food, starting in the afternoon and served through the course of the celebrations. The party will go on until the small hours of the morning. We’ll have plenty of beer, wine, and vodka, plus plenty of non-alcoholic options.

There will be games, and guests will be encouraged to participate. They are low-key, fun, and inclusive, and nothing is mandatory. The goal is to bring new friends closer together!

Where & when is everything taking place?

The wedding and party will happen on the afternoon of Saturday, July 5th, at Oaza Leńcze. We’ll also host an informal, optional get-together on the evening of Friday, July 4th, at Smil’y Tavern in Kraków city center. For more details, go to the Itinerary section.

How can I get to the venue?

Oaza Leńcze is a 45-minute drive from Kraków city center. There’s free parking for all our guests.

We have arranged buses to get you all to the venue. They will leave from Kiss & Ride Dajwór in Kraków’s city center at 13:50 sharp. We recommend arriving there 15 minutes earlier for smooth boarding. Please make sure to be there on time! We believe this will be the most convenient way to get to the venue.

You can also take a taxi, Uber, or Bolt to the venue. It should cost around 80-130 złoty ($22-$35). We still recommend taking the bus though, as you can get the party started there 🙂

How can I get back to Kraków after the party?

Shuttle buses will leave the wedding venue at 12 AM, 2 AM, and 4 AM. Additionally, two smaller buses will run continuously from 11 PM. We’ll provide further information on how to get back to Kraków on the day of the wedding.

Where should we stay?

We recommend staying in Kraków city center (Old Town and Kazimierz are the most historic neighborhoods). There are lots of good hotels and Airbnbs. Whether you plan to visit for the weekend or longer, this will be a great home base for exploring the region.

For the brave of heart: you are welcome to camp out at the wedding venue on Saturday and Sunday nights. You'll have access to bathrooms and showers. If you're interested, let us know. We can even help arrange tents and sleeping bags.

Do you have a registry?

We don’t have a registry. Please do not feel obliged, but you could follow the Polish tradition of giving couples cash to help them start their new married life or plan a honeymoon.

Please visit the Gifts section for more information.

What’s the dress code?

For the wedding day, we suggest festive yet comfortable attire. The venue is air-conditioned, but we expect to spend time outside as well.

Are children invited?

Yes! We’ll provide kid-friendly food and entertainment. Let us know if we can help out in any other way.
